THE ERA OF FOSSIL FUEL IS SOON OVER!

Some 396 billion barrels of oil reserves, the combined reserves of Saudi Arabia (263 billion barrels) and Iran (133 billion barrels) can only be consumed in 4,714 days or 13 months!

The oil reserves in other parts of the Middle East’s 385.8 billion barrels (Iraq’s 100 billion barrels[1], U.A.E.’s 98.1 B, Kuwait’s 94.5 B, and Qatar’s 93.2 B), Western Europe’s 15.6 billion barrels (U.K. and Norway, 15.6 B), Eastern Europe’s 58.5 billion barrels (USSR’s 58.5 B), North America’s 70.9 billion barrels (Alaska’s 10 B[2], Mexico’s 54.1 B, and Canada’s 6.8 B), South America’s 63.8 billion barrels (Venezuela’s 58.1 B, Ecuador’s 1.4 B, Colombia’s 2 B, Argentina’s 2.3 B), Africa’s 53.62 billion barrels (Nigeria’s 16 B, Libya’s 22 B, Angola’s 2.2, Egypt’s 4.3, Algeria’s 8.4 B, and Gabon’s 720 M), and Asia’s 36.2 billion barrels (Indonesia’s 8.3 B, China’s 23.6 B, Malaysia’s 2.9 B, and Brunei’s 1.4 B) will not be able to cope beyond ___ the present’s 84 millions a day of oil consumption!

To summarize the world’s known oil reserves:

Middle East’s 781.8 billion barrels (including S.A. and Iran)

Western Europe’s 15.6 billion barrels

Eastern Europe’s 58.5 billion barrels

North America’s 70.9 billion barrels

South America’s 63.8 billion barrels

Africa’s 53.62 billion barrels; and

Asia’s 36.2 billion barrels

The total is: 1,080,420,000,000 barrels. Or 1.08 trillion barrels, in short. Divide that by the current daily oil consumption of 84 millions, and you will have the entire reserved exhausted in 12,862 days. That’s only 35 years or by the year 2042.

Other estimate is more worrying, placing the year 2010 as the peak oil.

According to research firm WiseGeek, “It is estimated that some 800 billion barrels of oil have already been extracted. Campbell and Laherrère, of Petroconsultants in Geneva, estimate that there is perhaps some 1000 billion barrels remaining, and that the peak will be reached around 2010. Since most analysts acknowledge that the peak will only be recognized once it has passed, there is a growing number of analysts who suspect ‘peak oil’ has already been reached.”[3]

Irregardless, the era of fossil oil is soon over!

It is time for the Filipinos to put their sight to their own under-ocean hydrogen fuel, dubbed heavy water – the deuterium gas – which is described as not only non-pollutant, but also virtually inexhaustible!

The clean and prosperous era is yet to come!
